The True Role of the Church

The role of the Church is to deliver the message of eternal life so that believers may have life abundantly and eternally.
However, I feel that we as a church throughout history have done an incredibly poor job of conveying this basic message. The result is that there are millions of people who go to church regularly, good honest and loving people, yet they do not have eternal life.

My wife and I got married in Korea and we decided not to throw another reception party when we got back as our expenses were out of control. But once we returned one of my wife's friend started criticizing and scolding her for being disrespectful to our friends and elders. She didn't even consider our situation (one job, school & credit card debt, honeymoon debt...), we felt hurt and angry… [....]
