The True Role of the Church

The role of the Church is to deliver the message of eternal life so that believers may have life abundantly and eternally.
However, I feel that we as a church throughout history have done an incredibly poor job of conveying this basic message. The result is that there are millions of people who go to church regularly, good honest and loving people, yet they do not have eternal life.

Doesn't it seem like today's churches are just so friendly and pleasing on the ears? No one talks about real, life crunching issues and it seems like too many churches preach only on the things that we want to hear like how God will bless us and how He will our love and wealth on us. These messages are all great but what about sex? the power of the internet?… [....]
