Lukewarm Christianity | Fight against Lukewarm Christianity

As a male, I've always found it difficult to grasp the concept of love in general. Christian love was even harder. Many people I talk to make it sound like such an intimate relationship, just like that first date where you just cant stop thinking about your date. I'm not sure whether I've ever felt like that about Jesus. One day I was reading Mere Christianity

1 + 3 = 4

A simple question, that has changed my attitude and behaviour. Rather than ask "what should I do?", by turning the focus of the question to Jesus, the answer is always so clear and obvious. At first it was joke between my wife and I but as we kept asking it to each other, it ended up bring more than a joke. It changed our perspective and attitudes.

A simple question someone could ask you is "do you know Jesus?". But the answer to this question is useless. The underlying truth cannot be determined with this question.  The question that we really need to be able to answer is "does Jesus know you?". It has been 136 days since my wife and I got married. We've also had 136 family devotions and it all began after the ceremony.
